Named after Giuseppe Garibaldi, a crucial figure in the liberation of Italy, the exact origins of this drink are unknown. Early versions of the cocktail called for equal parts bitter aperitif and orange juice, but the modern version created by NY bar legend Naren Young upped the juice to create a more balanced drink. We of course subbed in Mommenpop Seville Orange and a wee dash of pineapple juice, which when shaken up creates a lovely frothy texture to excite your palate. Perfect for brunch or just because!
