Named after rum-loving Ernest Hemingway, this grapefruit forward riff on the classic Daiquiri can be a bit of a balancing act. Our citrusy sipper is light and refreshing with a bright, tart kick from Mommenpop Ruby Grapefruit paired the floral sweetness of maraschino and grassy white rum.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Mommenpop Ruby Grapefruit
1 oz white rum
.5 oz Luxardo maraschino liqueur
.75 oz lime juice
2 drops grapefruit bitters
Process
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with 5-6 ice cubes and shake hard for 10 seconds.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
