Reverse Martinez

This precursor to the dry martini that emerged in the late 1860’s uses sweet vermouth and orange bitters to balance out the dryness of the gin. Our modern California take on this OG recipe uses Mommenpop ruby grapefruit instead, for a hit of bright Napa sunshine, bringing you a smile in every sip.


1.5 oz Mommenpop Ruby Grapefruit
.75 oz gin
.5 oz Luxardo maraschino liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters


    Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with 5-6 ice cubes.
    Stir for 10-15 seconds.
    Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with an orange twist.
