Reverse Whiskey Sour

Taking its cues from the New York Sour topped off with a splash of red wine, our holiday inspired reverse whiskey sour is laced with the sweet aromas of vivid blood orange and pungent earthy spices that play beautifully with the vanilla notes of bourbon and heady amaretto. Cin Cin!


1.5 oz Mommenpop Blood Orange
.75 oz bourbon
.75 oz amaretto
.75 oz lemon juice
1 oz egg white or aquafaba
1 orange twist
2 dashes Angostura bitters


    Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, including the orange twist, with 4-5 ice cubes.
    Shake hard for 10 seconds.
    Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
    Garnish with shaved nutmeg and optional grated lemon peel.
