What's in Mommenpop
Every bottle of Mommenpop starts with a base wine made from Northern California grapes. We fortify with Napa-made brandy, add flavor with whole, organic, California citrus, and create nuance with select botanicals. We’re proud to use whole ingredients - no dried peels, powders, essences, dyes, or flavorings. Mommenpop is gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan.

Mommenpop SEVILLE ORANGE is made from a base of Chardonnay wine and thousands of pounds of organic, whole Seville oranges. We add the following few botanicals for complexity and flavor:
ORRIS ROOT // A fragrant and floral root used in many gin products.
VANILLA BEAN // Sweet on its own, and brings out the natural sweetness of the orange.
GRAINS OF PARADISE // Woody with a subtle heat. Reminiscent of ginger and cardamom.

Mommenpop RUBY GRAPEFRUIT is made from a base of Pinot Noir rosé wine and thousands of pounds of organic, whole California Ruby grapefruits. We add the following few botanicals for complexity and flavor:
ORRIS ROOT // A fragrant and floral root used in many gin products.
VANILLA BEAN // Pleasantly sweet, it is the perfect balance to natural bitter qualities of the grapefruit
GREEN CARDAMOM // Warming and lightly spicy, with a hint of sweetness.

Mommenpop BLOOD ORANGE is made from a base of Pinot Noir wine and thousands of pounds of organic, whole, California Sanguinelli and Moro blood oranges. We add the following few botanicals for complexity and flavor:
ORRIS ROOT // A fragrant and floral root used in many gin products
VANILLA BEAN // Subtly sweet and fragrant, helps to bring out the natural sweetness of the blood orange
CUBEB PEPPER // Lends a sharp aroma with hints of allspice. Brings a subtle heat and a tinge of bitterness.

Meyer LEMONPOP is made from a base of Chardonnay wine and hundreds of pounds of organic, whole, California Meyer lemons. We added one of our favorite herbs to compliment this amazingly floral citrus:
TARRAGON // A soft herbal flavor with notes of black pepper and anise. The taste of summer.

Makrut LIMEPOP is made from a base of Chardonnay wine and organic, whole, California Makrut limes. We add the following botanicals for balance and flavor:
MAKRUT LIME LEAF // The Southeast Asian equivalent to a bay leaf, Makrut lime leaves are commonly used for their amazing aromatics. Bright, fresh, and distinctly citrusy.
SWEET LIMES // When fully ripe, sweet limes turn a beautiful shade of yellow, with flesh that looks almost like a lemon. They are wonderfully sweet and have far less acid than most citrus varieties.
LONG PEPPER // More complex than black pepper, long pepper lends the same heat and musk, but with an added tobacco-like coolness on the finish.
ORRIS ROOT // A fragrant and floral root used in many gin products.
VANILLA BEAN // A perfect counter to the pithiness of the Makrut lime, it adds just the right amount of subtle sweetness.
SEA SALT // We use just a pinch of this to balance the acidity of the citrus and grapes.

Kumquat-POP is made from a base of Chardonnay wine and organic California kumquats. We add the following ingredients for complexity and flavor:
HACHIYA & FUYU PERSIMMONS // Extracted into the Chardonnay grape spirit, these impart a honeyed warmth
TOASTED FIG LEAVES // Warm and cinnamon-like
GREEN WALNUTS // Bright-spiced citrus character
GREEN CARDAMOM // Bright, warming, and with a little kick
GALANGAL // A root native to Southern Asia, closely related to ginger. Bright, peppery, tart
QUASSIA & GENTIAN // Used sparingly, these two bitter herbs are used for added brightness and pep
