Blood Orange, Basil, Berry and some honey from our bee friends come together to make this sunny spritz. Light, bright and refreshing!
INGREDIENTS
2 oz of Mommenpop Blood Orange
1/4 oz Lemon
1/4 oz of 1:1 Honey Syrup (1 part honey: 1 part Water)*
2 oz Basil Berry Aura Bora
Optional: 1/2 oz of Vodka
Garnish: Lemon Wheel and fresh basil
PROCESS
Shake Mommenpop, lemon juice, and honey syrup (and optional vodka) in your shaker. Strain over ice into a rocks glass. Top with Basil Berry Aura Bora. Garnish with a lemon wheel and fresh basil.
*Honey Syrup: Heat equal parts water and honey on your stovetop over low heat. Stir a few times, until the honey dissolves. Store syrup in your fridge, it will come in handy for many future cocktails!
